Sailing in root vegetable-shaped sailboats on the ocean, the sailors are talking to each other via a series of flags. A turnip-shaped boat has an anthropomorphic rabbit sailor aboard, and a human, the other is too far to make out. The sailboat that is far away is signaling with the Quebec, Romeo and One flags. Rabbit Waves A comic showing how a rabbit living aboard a giant turnip sailboat at sea prepares coffee, starting with a rain water collector on deck, which funnels the water into a filter(a container with layers of gravel, sand and charcoal). The filtered water then runs through a paper filter before slowly trickling through a tube indoors via a small spout, filling a kettle. The inside of the turnip sailboat is cozy, with a little woodstove, shelves filled with jars(heavy glass jars are cushioned with knitted sleeves) of food and goods, a box filled with dishware, a wall pouch with signal flags, a jug full of water, etc. The rabbit opens a jar of coffee beans and roasts them in a cast iron pan over the woodstove before grinding them using a hand grinder(the grinder has a big disc overtop for grinding). Then the rabbit boils water over the woodstove to pour over the grounds. The last frame is a fresh cup of warm coffee. Pages:
